Welcome to our blog. Our first blog!
So before we begin anything, let us tell you a little bit about us.
We are starting out on our own, trying to create our own business designing and selling blank apparel.
Basically Seven Million Apparel is a partnership created by two friends that met in college.
Neither of us wanted to finish college and turn corporate straight away, so we thought we would start a teeshrt label together where we could print and sell our own teeshrt designs.
Things went well, but as time went by, we started to have more and more problems.
Our suppliers got more and more unreliable.
People were so rude.
Emails and calls went unanswered.
Getting our tee’s took longer and we used to have to chase distributors for business.
It was ridiculous.
If we found anything we liked it would take 3-4 weeks to get samples, then another month to get the final stock, and then to turn that around to sell, it seemed to take forever.
Things got so bad, we were thinking of leaving the industry and becoming a suit.
One day we got together to decide our future, and decided to give it another ago.
But this time we wanted to change roles, and become the teeshrt supplier.
So we have spent many hours, and been through many designs and samples to come up with, what we think, is the ultimate teeshrt.
We are aiming to develop a company that has high quality standards, along with quick turn around, friendly casual customer service and who are actually in Australia. We are also interested in providing for designers, who are in exactly the same position we were once in, a great screen printing FASHION blank.
From now on, we are going to blog as much as possible about our day to day life, problems, interests and I presume a whole lot of music. We are also interested in creating a great community of designers.
Obviously, it is going to take some time for us to build up our range, so please bare with us, although we do keep our entire range stocked, the only reason any items will be unavailable is if we are sold out.
